00 per hour DESCRIPTION Performs nerve conduction testing on out patients as directed according to established standards and practices.
Assists in writing technical report on all patients.
Work directly with the neurologist who will perform EMG component of testing.
Room patients, clean room upon completion of test.
Manage supplies and assist in ordering and stocking the rooms.
Makes copies of test recordings upon request.
Prepares the tests for physician interpretation.
Contacts physicians to read tests.
Sends final copies of tests to ordering physician.
QUALIFICATIONS High school graduate or equivalent; a two-year associate degree in applied science or enter a nerve conduction testing certification program REQUIRED and proven work experience performing nerve induction testing.
1 year clinical practice performing nerve conduction testing REQUIRED.
Need to maintain certification.
Nerve conduction testing certification required if no work experience Excellent customer service and communication with patients.
Competency in using Natus software or willingness to learn the software system used in the office.
