Ability to handle up to 2 large dog breeds simultaneously and assist with any necessary lifting or restraining - Pet care:
Knowledge of basic pet care practices, including feeding, grooming, and administering medications if needed - Animal restraint:
Ability to safely restrain dogs when necessary, ensuring the safety of both the dog and the handler - Animal handling:
Experience in handling animals with care, understanding their body language and behavior cues - Animal care:
Understanding of the physical and emotional needs of animals, including providing appropriate exercise and socialization - Dog training:
Knowledge of basic dog training techniques to reinforce positive behaviors during walks We are looking for a responsible individual who has a genuine love for animals.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with dogs in some capacity and be comfortable handling different breeds and temperaments.
Good communication skills are essential as you will be interacting with dog owners on a regular basis.
Must be available Monday through Friday from 11am to 1:
30pm.
This is a physically demanding job that requires walking for extended periods of time and being able to handle small and large dogs.
The ability to lift heavy objects and properly restrain dogs is also necessary.
